10 Receiving Podcasts
With FRITZ!Fon M2 you can receive podcasts. A podcast is a series of
media reports, for instance radio programs, that you can listen to
whenever you want, regardless of when they are broadcast.
10.1 Setting Up a Podcast
To listen to a podcast with the FRITZ!Fon M2, first set up the podcast
in the user interface of your FRITZ!Box:
1. Open the user interface of the FRITZ!Box in a web browser
(http://fritz.box
).
2. Select “DECT / Podcast”.
3. Select one of the preset podcasts from the drop-down menu.
You can also set up a new podcast:
– In the drop-down menu, select the entry “Other pod-
cast...”.
– Enter a name for the podcast. This name will be displayed
on the FRITZ!Fon.
– Enter the Internet address at which the podcast can be
reached in the Internet.
– Click the “OK” button to save the settings.
Addresses of podcasts are listed, for instance, at
www.podcast.com
.
