timing and control code.
8.3 SELECTING AVL CLOCK-TRAK
The AVL Genesis generates and reads AVL
Clock-trak time codes when it is not in
the SMPTE mode of operation. AVL Clock-
trak allows time-synchronizing of cues
to the audio track.
AVL Clock-trak is the Genesis' default
mode of operation; therefore, whenever
the word "SMPTE" is not displayed on the
status line, AVL Clock-trak will be used
as the timing and control code.
If,
however, you are in the SMPTE mode of
'-3
operation and wish to select AVL Clock-
trak, follow the procedure below.
a. Simultaneously press CTRL and
C keys
(CTRL/C)
b. With the cursor in the Control
Command field, type AVL and
press RETURN.
c. When "SMPTE" disappears from
the status line, AVL Clock-
trak is selected as the timing
and control code.
