4. Press the power switch to the "I" position to turn on your
@V5000. After showing the warming up message, the LCD
display prompts the Copy ready status (present) as shown below.
Note: You can leave your @V5000 ON at all times since the @V5000 is designed
with a power saving function. If the @V5000 is idle for four hours, it
automatically shuts off the scanning lamp.
