Minimum Configuration Requirements
To make the best of the @V5000, the following configuration is required:
To send emails from the @V5000:
• TCP/IP network
• A SMTP server
To send document(s) via G3 fax from the @V5000
• Telephone line (non-digital) with RJ-11 telephone jack
• A fax modem
To send document(s) via LAN fax from the @V5000:
• TCP/IP network
• A fax server
• FaXess (LAN fax software) 5.0 or above (optional)
• A modem
• Telephone line (non-digital) with RJ-11 telephone jack
To make copies from the @V5000:
• A PCL-compliant laser printer
If you are not familiar with these terms, contact your network
administrator to set up the @V5000 on your network properly.
