Open our website www.avira.com and click on the Downloads menu, to download the program file. By clicking on the desired AntiVir product, for instance on Avira AntiVir Premium, you can select the program file for the download. Save the program on your hard drive (e.g. on the Desktop) and start the installation by double-clicking the program file.

The information about your license is now displayed. Please check your data and confirm with Next. 3. The installation will then continue and can be completed by clicking on Finished.

You will see the main window (Control Center) of AntiVir after completing the installation and the first update. B. Renewing an AntiVir license These instructions explain how to extend your current AntiVir license and also how to convert a test license into a full license.

If you have not purchased a new license yet, please select the option Extend license. You will be directed to the online shop where you can buy a license. Solution: Please stop the installation, check the AntiVir version in the order confirmation email and download the corresponding AntiVir software program from the Download area on www.avira.com. www.avira.com/en/download/index.html Error code 556: The license period of the OTC entered has expired. Solution: Purchase a new OTC from our online shop.
