Reminder message for restart every n seconds
If this option is enabled, the necessary restart is not carried out automatically after a
product update has been executed. At the interval specified, you will receive restart
notifications without cancel options. These notifications let you confirm the computer
restart or select Remind me again .
Query whether computer should be restarted
If this option is enabled, the necessary restart is not carried out automatically after a
product update has been executed. You will receive one message in which you can
confirm the restart or cancel the restart routine.
Restart computer without query
If this option is enabled, the necessary restart is carried out automatically after a
product update has been executed. You will not receive any notification.
12.7.3 File server
In the case of more than one workstation in a network, Avira AntiVir Professional can
download an update from a file server in the intranet, which in turn obtains the update
files from a proprietary download server on the Internet. It can thus be ensured that the
Avira AntiVir Professional is up to date on all workstations.

The configuration section is only enabled if the option Via file server / shared folders
has been selected under Configuration :: General :: Product update
Download
Enter the name of the file server on which the AntiVir Professional update files and the
required directories '/release/update/' are located. The following must be specified: file://
<IP address of the file server>/release/update/. The 'release' directory must be a
directory that can be accessed by all users.
The button opens a window in which you can select the required download directory.
Server login
Login name
Enter your login name on the server.
Login password
Enter the relevant password for logging in on the server here. The characters entered are
masked with *.
Note
If you do not specify any data in the Server login section, no authentication will be
carried out when accessing the file server. In this case sufficient user rights must be
available on the file server.
