Updating a Device Preset
Once a Device Preset has been saved you can change its settings, rename it, and update it as often as
needed. To update one of the 16 Device Presets with a newer version, select the preset in the Device Preset
panel to highlight it, rename it if necessary, and then click the sA v e button in the Device Preset panel. You
will be prompted to confirm the change before the preset is overwritten.
Conrm the change to an existing preset.
To change only the preset’s name, click the preset’s name field, select and enter any text to be changed,
then press the keyboard eN t e r key. Confirm the update in the dialog box that appears by clicking Ye s .
Recalling a Device Preset
To recall a Device Preset that has been saved with the project, first select the preset to highlight it and then
click the re c A l l button in the Device Preset panel.
For input modules, if there are any Slot activation conflicts caused by the Device Preset recall, a warning
dialog will alert you to the conflict.

Remember that only one input channel can occupy a network Slot at a time.
Clearing a Device Preset
To remove a Device Preset from the preset panel (which also removes it from the project and from disk),
first select the preset to highlight it and then click the cl e A r button in the Device Preset panel.
Clearing a preset requires conrmation.
Confirm the operation by clicking the Ye s button. There is no undo. for this action
