When 90-deg rotation is chosen
Regular Operation
This section describes the use of direct operation using the projector and remote control buttons.
Please see the items on Page E-36 “Method of Menu Operation” and Page E-38 “Menu Description” for information
about operation using the menu.
Select the Input
OperationwiththeProjector
Select the input using the INPUT buttons.
The input switches in the order OHP → PC → VID-
EO or OHP → VIDEO (
Component
) → VIDEO each
time the button is pressed.
OperationwiththeRemoteControl
Select the input using the INPUT buttons.
When the projector’s power is turned on, one of the input selection icons ([OHP, PC or VIDEO] or [OHP, VIDEO
(Component) or VIDEO]) is displayed.

NOTE:
• Theinputmodeatstartingtimewillbethesameasitwasthelasttimetheprojectorwasswitchedoff.

Changing the Orientation of the Projection Image
Effective Only with OHP Input
This changes the orientation of the currently projected image to 0° and to 90°. The changed video is displayed ac-
cording to the lateral axis of the screen. Also, a mode for rotating the projected image 360° in 90° steps can be se-
lected from the menu screen.
OperationwiththeProjector
Press the PORTRAIT button.
OperationwiththeRemoteControl
Press the ROTATION button.
• When the PORTRAIT or ROTATION button is pressed, the rotation selection
icons appear. Select the desired orientation. The icon display turns off when the
image switches.
