Avigilon Control Center System Integration Guide with Jacques VoIP Voice Communication System Introduction The Avigilon Control Center software integration with the Jacques VoIP Voice Communication System allows alarms in Avigilon Control Center to be triggered whenever an intercom event is activated in the Jacques System. The Jacques system uses tags to communicate events between intercom units. Tags are a series of numbers that users dial to call other intercom units and initiate specific actions.

The applications do not need to be installed on the same server. 1. The Avigilon Control Center Server software. 2. The Jacques High Level Interface for third party integration. 3. The Avigilon Jacques Gateway software integration.

(Optional) If you would like to trigger an action when an alarm is acknowledged, select the Activate selected digital output(s) on alarm acknowledgement check box. a. Avigilon Control Center System Integration Guide with Jacques VoIP Voice Communication System Avigilon Jacques Gateway The Avigilon Jacques Gateway is composed of two parts: the Avigilon Jacques Gateway Windows service that runs automatically in the background, and the Avigilon Jacques Gateway configuration application that is used to configure the connection and alarm mappings between the Jacques and the Avigilon systems.

Use the username and password created in the Avigilon configuration. See Adding an Integration User in Avigilon on page 3. 5. In the Alarm Mapping Definition area, select a tag from the Call Origin pane and select an alarm from the Avigilon Alarm to Trigger pane. 4. Click Ok. Copy and paste the backup GatewayParams.xml file into the C:\Program Files\Avigilon\Avigilon Jacques Gateway\ folder. Allow Windows to overwrite the copy that is currently in the folder. 4. Close the Avigilon Jacques Gateway configuration application to start the Gateway Windows service. 5. To check if the mapped alarms were restored correctly, open the Avigilon Jacques Gateway configuration application again.
Avigilon Control Center System Integration Guide with Jacques VoIP Voice Communication System Monitoring Alarms Once the Avigilon Jacques integration is complete, alarm video can be monitored from the Avigilon Control Center whenever a mapped intercom event is activated.
