Avid Pro Tools

After buying downloadable software from Thomann,

we will send you an e-mail containing your activation.

When you buy the boxed version, you‘ll ﬁnd this code

on a small card, the so-called “Activation Card”.

You can downlaod and register the software on the

manufacturer‘s website, and you‘ll need your own

customer acocunt there, so that your licence can be

assigned to you personally.

Step 01

iLok

Avid software is protected by the “iLok“ copy

protection programme. Please set up your free

customer acocunt here:

https://www.ilok.com/#!registration

You‘ll be asked to choose a “User ID“ in the ﬁrst

entry ﬁeld.

You can freely choose an ID or just use your e-

mail address, as long as your choice has not

been assigned to an existing customer already.

Please then install the iLok licence manager,

which you can download here:

https://www.ilok.com/#!home
