Project Notes
Pro Tools lets you add and edit Project Notes for any
version of a project. Use Project Notes for anything
from reminders to descriptions, or a to do list. You
can add and edit Project Notes when you create a new
version of a project or in the Project Notes window.
Project Notes are always saved with the specific ver-
sion of the project.
To add or edit Project Notes:
1 Do one of the following:
Choose
File > Save as New Version to open the
Save New Version dialog.
Select Window > Project Notes to open the Proj-
ect Notes window for the current version of the
project.
2 Type and edit the Project Notes as desired.
Closing a Session or Project
Pro Tools only lets you work on just one session or
project at a time. The
Close Session/Project com-
mand closes your current Pro Tools session or
project but leaves the Pro Tools application run-
ning. Pro Tools prompts you to save the session or
project when closing it, but it is recommended that
you save your work using the
Save or Save As
command before closing a session or project.
To close a session or project:
Choose File > Close Session/Project.
