Analog Controls
If an ML530 Mic-Line Interface or Modular I/O preamp is patched to the input, the top four knobs show the analog mic-line con-
trols. Otherwise, they are blank.
• The top knob shows whether the input is high or low impedance (HiZ = line; LowZ = mic).
Press the lower switch to the left of the knob to toggle between values.
• The second knob shows whether the 48 V phantom power is on/off.
Press the lower switch to the left of the knob to toggle phantom power on/off.
• The third knob shows whether the high-pass filter is on/off.
Press the lower switch to the left of the knob to toggle the HPF on/off.
• The fourth knob controls the analog input gain.
Spin the knob to adjust the gain between -12 and +72 dB.
Digital Controls
The bottom four knobs control the digital parameters of the A and B inputs:
Atrm
The Atrm knob adjusts the digital trim 15 dB.
Aphs
The Aphs knob controls the phase of the A input.
The lower switch to the left of the knob toggles the phase. The switch lights to indicate phase reversal, which is indicated on the
TFT screen above the Strip.
Dly
The Dly knob controls the delay for both inputs. The lower switch to the left of the knob enables the delay. The switch lights to
indicate the delay is active. Rotate the knob to adjust the delay. The default delay time format is Samples (0–2160).
To change the delay time format:
1 Press the upper switch to the left of the knob.
2 Display Strip Config Panel Pg3 (see “Delay Display Modes” on page 70).
3 Select a Delay Display Mode: Samples, Seconds/Frames, or Seconds/Milliseconds.
Inpt
The Inpt knob selects between A, B, and A+B. The selection is indicated on the TFT screen above the Strip.
There is a +12 dB offset between the gain knob dB reading and the Modular I/O Remote preamp’s actual gain position. When the
gain knob displays -12 dB, the Modular I/O Remote preamp’s setting is 0 dB.
