Joystick Assign Mode
Three options in the Strip Config Panel (Pg 3) control how to assign the CM403’s joysticks.
Cycle: A channel, Control Group, or bus is assigned to a joystick by pressing a previously assigned channel Strip’s Wave key.
For example, if G1 (Control Group 1) is assigned to a Strip, pressing its Wave key assigns G1 to the left joystick. Pressing another
assigned channel Strip’s Wave key assigns its channel, Control Group, or bus to the right joystick. Left/right joystick assign-
ments alternate each time a Wave key is pressed.
Direct Assign: A channel is assigned to a joystick via the Channel Assign Panel (see page 64). Assigns a Control Group or Bus to
a joystick via the Bus Assign Panel (see page 65). Direct Assign is always active even if its key is not selected.
402 Cycle: A channel is assigned to a joystick from the CM402T Chan Select keys. Left/right joystick assignments alternate each
time a Chan Select key is pressed.
