Strip Mode/Strip Function
To assign an automation mode selected on the Strip to an entire function or individual parameters on a Strip:
1 Hold down the Strip’s Wave key and press its Select/Punch key.
The popup menu above the Strip displays automation modes. The current mode is highlighted in green.
2 Press the Select/Punch key until the desired mode is highlighted green.
3 Release the Select/Punch key, but keep holding down the Wave key.
4 To assign the mode to an individual parameter, press a knob’s Select/Punch key.
To assign the mode to the entire knobset, press the Knobset Select/Punch key at the top right of the Strip (or at the top of the
Strip’s function keys) repeatedly until the desired mode is highlighted.
Changing an Individual Parameter’s Automation Mode
To change the automation mode of an individual parameter, even if it has been assigned globally:
1 Simultaneously press the Wave key and Select/Punch key for the parameter to assign.
A popup menu above the Strip displays the automation modes.
Keep hold holding down the Wave key.
2 Press the Select/Punch key repeatedly until the desired mode is highlighted.
3 Release both keys to select the last mode highlighted.
Toggling the automation mode is closely related to setting the Glide settings. Continuing to hold down the Wave key and repeatedly
pressing the Select/Punch key cycles through the automation modes. To toggle the Glide setting, be sure to press the Select/Punch
key once and then release both keys.
