Fader Copy
A useful technique to create a performer’s monitor mix is to first create the mix on the faders, which typically feed an output bus,
and use those settings as a starting point for the aux mix.
To copy fader levels (and pan positions for stereo channels) to a selected Aux bus:
1 Press the Fader Copy button.
2 Press the Aux bus knob that corresponds to the destination for the settings.
3 When finished, select a different Aux function.
Aux Copy
A monitor mix can be created faster by starting with another performer’s aux mix with similar requirements and copying it to ad-
ditional aux busses.
To copy settings for one Aux bus to another:
1 Press the Aux Copy button.
2 Press the Aux bus knob from which the settings are to be copied.
3 Press the Aux bus knob to which the copied settings are to be pasted.
4 When finished, select other Aux busses to copy or select a different Aux function.
AuxtoFader
Aux busses are often used for customized monitor mixes for individual performers. However, mixing on the knobs is not as easy
as using the faders, which have finer control and better visual indication of relative levels. AuxtoFader supports controlling a se-
lected Aux bus from the faders. Aux busses have 12 dB of gain to match the range of the channel fader. After the aux mix is set,
the faders can be restored to their normal function.
To map a selected Aux bus to the faders:
1 Press the AuxtoFader button.
2 Press an Aux bus knob to map that Aux bus onto the faders.
3 When finished, select another Aux or select a different Aux function.
This mode stays enabled if you navigate to a different panel so press AuxtoFader again to disable this function when finished.
This operation affects all channels including those not on the surface.
