Working with Track Groups
This section shows how you can work with Pro Tools track Groups using an MC Control or MC Mix.
Working with Track Groups on MC Control
To enable or suspend a Group:
1 Press the GROUP encoder to enter Group mode. Group names fill as many Soft Encoders as neces-
sary; green LEDs in the Touchscreen encoders indicate group membership for the currently selected
track.
2 Hold SHIFT and press the Touchscreen encoder for a group to toggle it between enabled/suspended.
To add or remove tracks from a Group:
1 Select a channel by pressing its SEL key.
2 Press the GROUP encoder to enter Group mode. Existing Group names are listed in the Soft Encod-
ers, starting with the <All> Group in encoder 1. Green LEDs next to Soft Encoders indicate which
Groups the currently selected track is a member of.
3 Press the Soft Encoder for the Group to add the current track to it (the green LED is lit), or remove
the track from the group (no green LED).
Soft Encoder for Group
MC Control also provides a Soft Key for New Groups; simply select tracks, then press the New Group
Soft Key to display the Create Group dialog on-screen. You can remap this and other Groups features
to any Soft Key using the EuControl software included with your units. See the
