Protecting and Unprotecting
Workspaces
You can use the Client Manager to enable or dis-
able workspace protection if your user account
on the Avid Unity ISIS system has the necessary
privileges.
To enable or disable workspace protection:
1 Open the Client Manager (see “Connecting to
the Avid Unity ISIS System” on page 19).
2 In the Menu panel, click Workspaces.
3 In the Workspaces list, expand the display for
a selected workspace.

When you modify the protection status of a
workspace, the ISIS system performs a redis-
tribution of any data on the storage ele-
ments in the workspace.
