Replacing the Network Switch
Before replacing a switch in the ISIS environment:
• Have a backup copy of the switch configuration file.
• Disable any Link Aggregation that might be set in your ISIS | 7500 environment. This prevents odd network
behavior and the inevitable trunking errors.
