SERVICE INTERVAL SCHEDULE
To maintain optimal performance and durability of the HammerSchmidt, periodic maintenance is required. If you ride in extreme
conditions, maintenance should be performed more frequently.
IMPORTANT:
We recommend that you have your Truvativ HammerSchmidt serviced by a qualified bicycle mechanic. Servicing the HammerSchmidt
requires advanced mechanical skill, knowledge of planetary gear systems, as well as access to and knowledge of use of the special
tools required for service.

Recommended torque values for the HammerSchmidt are provided below.
IMPORTANT:
Do not exceed the recommended torque values. Over-tightening can result in damage to the unit.

GREASE
IMPORTANT:
Use only the HammerSchmidt grease kit for re-lubrication. Poor performance and accelerated wear can be expected from use of
other lubricants.
