Adding a Second IP Address (Dual-Connected Configuration)
If you are setting up an Avid ISIS dual-connected configuration, you need use the Failover
Cluster Manager to add a second IP address.
To add a second IP address:
1. In the Failover Cluster Manager, select Avid Workgroup Server.
2. Bring the Name, IP Address, and File Server resources offline by doing one of the following:
- Right-click the resource and select “Take this resource offline.”
- Select all resources and select “Take this resource offline” in the Actions panel of the
Server Manager window.
The following illustration shows the resources offline.
3. Right-click the Name resource and select Properties.
The Properties dialog box opens.
