8. Click the Dependencies tab and check if the new IP address was added with an OR
conjunction.
If the second IP address is not there, click β€œClick here to add a dependency.” Select β€œOR”
from the list in the AND/OR column and select the new IP address from the list in the
Resource column.
9. Click OK and restart both nodes. Start with node one and after it is back online, restart the
other node.
Testing the Cluster Installation
At this point, test the cluster installation to make sure the failover process is working.
To test the failover:
1. Make sure both nodes are running.
2. Determine which node is the active node (the node that owns the quorum disk). Open the
Server Manager and select Features > Failover Cluster Manager > cluster_name > Storage.
The server that owns the Quorum disk is the active node.
In the following figure, warrm-ipe3 (node 1) is the current owner of the Quorum disk and is
the active node.
