4. Select Failover Clustering from the list of features and click Next.
5. On the next screen, click Install.
The Failover Cluster Manager installation program starts. At the end of the installation, a
message states that the installation was successful.
6. Click Close.
To check if the feature was installed, open the Server Manager and open Features. The
Failover Cluster Manager should be displayed.
7. Repeat this procedure on the second node.
Displaying the List of Server Features
If a list of server features does not display and “Error” is displayed instead, change the Default
Authentication Level as described in the following procedure.
To display the list of server features:
1. Click Start, the select Administrative Tools > Component Services.
2. In the directory tree, expand Component Services, expand Computers, right-click My
Computer, and select Properties.
3. Click the Default Properties tab.
4. In the Default Distributed COM Communication Properties section, change the Default
Authentication Level from None to Connect.
