Changing the Resource Name of the Avid Workgroup Server
If you find that the resource name of the Avid Workgroup Server application is not “Avid
Workgroup Name” (as displayed in the properties for the Server Name), you need to change the
name in the Windows registry.
To change the resource name of the Avid Workgroup Server:
1. On the node hosting the Avid Workgroup Server (the active node), open the registry editor
and navigate to the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Cluster\Resources.

If you are installing a dual-connected cluster, make sure to edit the “Cluster” key. Do not
edit other keys that include the word “Cluster,” such as the “0.Cluster” key.
