Artist Series and Pro Tools Guide48
Using Markers (Memory Locations)
Pro Tools Markers let you store and navigate to specific locations in your session (such as to mark the be-
ginning of a verse, or the beginning of dialog). They also let you navigate to selections in the timeline (such
as an entire verse, or complete scene), store and recall track height and show/hide status, and more.
Any controller with a numeric keypad such as the Artist Transport can create and recall (go to) Memory
Locations. Artist Control provides Touchscreen pages for creating, recalling, and managing Markers as
well as Window Configurations.
