17. Select your shared storage as the Deployment destination.
Once submitted, the process will generate the MXF file at the destination.
18. Once the export is complete, navigate to the clip in FlashFXP or Filezilla, and drag the clip
across to your AirSpeed 5000 database to initiate the transfer.
Once transferred, the clip will be playable in the AirSpeed 5000 Remote Console.
Transferring Media Using FCP and FileZilla FTP (for AVC-Intra only)
This topic contains information on how to transfer media to and from an AirSpeed 5000 server to
a Final Cut Pro editor using Filezilla FTP and AVC-Intra format.
Transferring media using Final Cut Pro and Filezilla FTP (for AVC-Intra only):
1. Open a project in FCP.
2. Log into your shared storage and your AirSpeed in FlashFXP or Filezilla.
3. Navigate to the active/clips directory on the AirSpeed 5000.
4. Navigate to the chosen destination on shared storage.
5. Select the clips to be transferred and drag them from one panel to the other in the FTP client.
The transfer will begin. Once the files are transferred to shared storage, they will reside at
the destination as MXF files and can be navigated to with the Finder.

The MXF files will retain the Video ID from the AirSpeed 5000 database.
6. Drag the MXF files into an open FCP bin.
They will be treated like masterclips.
7. Edit the sequence.
8. When you are done editing the sequence, export the sequence from FCP by selecting File >
Export > QuickTime movie.
9. In the Setting menu, select Apple ProRes 422 (HQ), and do the following based on your
resolution:
a. For 1080i, do one of the following:
t If using AVCI50, select 1440x1080i 48kHz
t If using AVCI100, select 1920x1080i 48kHz
b. For 720p, do one of the following:
t If using AVCI50, select 960x720p 48kHz
t If using AVCI100, select 1280x720p 48kHz
