Product Activation
Activation with an iLok
This section is applicable only to Pro Tools.
To activate the product, do the following:
1. With Application Manager open, go to the Licensing tab. If Application Manager is not
open, click the icon in the tray.
2. Plug in the iLok blasted to the current product and version. Application Manager detects
the iLok with the corresponding iLok ID and Serial Number.
As soon as you plugged in the iLok, Application Manager does the following:
It detects the iLok.
It changes the product status from Not Activated to Activated.
It displays the type of the license used: Perpetual or Subscription.
It stores the iLok information – click the Info button under the product name to display
it.
