The IP Config tab shows the current network settings for the selected

network adapter (see the Adapter menu) and allows you to change your DNS

and IP settings.

If you are connected directly to the Internet by LAN or another kind of CATV

(Cable TV) connection, your computer will usually obtain all necessary

configuration information from the DHCP server. The example figure above

shows the settings for a LAN connection where the settings are assigned

automatically.

If there are no settings present, and you are convinced that you should be

able to connect to the Internet, please contact your Internet (network

connection) provider and ask for the settings.

To specify your own network settings, click the Use the following IP

address or Use the following DNS server addresses radio buttons and

insert your own values. To confirm all changes press the Apply button or OK

button to finish editing.
