AVG Network Installer Wizard or manually).
If you require more people to access AVG Admin Console and administer stations/settings on a
different level, you can also create various user accounts with miscellaneous access rights.
To manage access to the AVG DataCenter via AVG Admin Console, navigate to the DataCenter
upper menu and select AVG DataCenter settings item. More information on this topic is available in
the How to.../How to manage access rights chapter.
12.3. Converting the AVG DataCenter to a Different Database
The AVG Admin Server Deployment Wizard is able to automatically convert any existing AVG
DataCenter to a different database format.
It is also possible to convert the AVG DataCenter from one AVG DataCenter to another using the
Export/Import functions. From within the AVG Admin Console it is possible to export the AVG
DataCenter to a portable text format (menu DataCenter/Database Export) and import the data
during the AVG Admin Deployment Wizard.
More information about the wizard can be found in the AVG Admin Deployment Wizard chapter.
12.4. Web Interface
The AVG Admin Server offers a web interface with overview of its status, roles details and other
information.
You can access the status pages by entering the connection string into your favorite internet
browser:
http://localhost:4158/
Where localhost represents your AVG Admin server address and 4158 is a default port number.
Except basic information, DataCenter and UpdateProxy roles overview, there are the following
buttons available:
List of all stations - lists all stations currently held in DataCenter.
List of non-compliant stations - lists all stations that are currently in an error state.
List of served stations - this option will be available only if there is UpdateProxy role
installed. Use this button to list stations that are receiving updates from this server.
