Quick access to scanning and updating
If needed, the AVG gadget allows you to launch a scan or an update immediately:
Scan now - click the Scan now link to start the whole computer scan directly. You can
watch the progress of the scanning in the alternative user interface of the gadget. A brief
statistical overview provides information on the number of scanned objects, threats
detected, and threats healed. During the scan you can always pause , or stop the
scanning process. For detailed data related to the scan results please consult the
standard Scan results overview dialog that can be opened directly from the gadget via the
Show details option (the respective scan results will be listed under Sidebar gadget scan).
Update now - click the Update now link to launch the AVG Internet Security 2012
update directly from within the gadget:
