Apple iPhone introduced many innovative new capabilities within a handheld device that easily fits in one's
pocket and include a powerful browser: mobile Safari. This browser is nearly identical to its desktop cousin.
Suddenly, the rich content on the Internet is readily reachable without having to carry around a bulky laptop.
The following sections describe these capabilities.
Home page
The Home Page provides real-time access to Lotus Domino mail, calendar, and contacts through a simple
look user interface and ease of use associated with a typical iPhone application. Unread email message
counter is shown at the top of the inbox and home page to let users immediately know how much mail still
needs to be read. This counter is not refreshed automatically, but will be updated on a page refresh or when
an action is performed.
