FTP server
AP5.4 AP7.t
The File Transfer Protocol (FTP) server (RFC959) allows access to the RAM
disk inside of the printer and, if available, to the CompactFlash-card. The FTP
server is capable of multisession mode, without evaluating the user name
when logging in. The password must match the set password (see below).
The FTP server can be used with the following clients:
y GNU Midnight Commander 4.6.0 (OS: Linux)
y WS-FTP Pro 5.0 (OS: Windows NT/95)
y MS-IE 5.0, 5.5, 6.0 (OS: Windows NT/95)
Enabled Switches the FTP server on.
Disabled Switches the FTP server off.
FTP password
AP5.4 AP7.t
Input of the FTP server password by means of a connected keyboard or the
printers operation panel. Default setting: „avery“.
Changing the password:
1. Press the Esc button. The cursor jumps to the first character.
2. Press the Cut- or Feed button until the wanted character appears.
Acknowledge by pressing the Online button.
3. Put in the next character.
4. Acknowledge the new password by pressing the Online button.
¯ If a keyboard is connected, this can be used for typing in the password.
