Connecting the signal source

Footswitch Footswitches are available as accessory for both, 64-xx and AP 5.4/5.6 print-

ers and are shipped ready configured (see topic section Accessories ).

¯ Note the different article numbers for AP 5.4/5.6 and 64-xx!

« Connect the footswitch to the singlestart connector [2A].

USI, AI, E/A The 3 accessory boards USI, AI and I/O provide each a signal interface

shaped as a D-Sub connector [2B] [3A]. To those connectors, a start signal

source can be connected.

¯ The signal source has to be connected by a qualified service technician.
