Data input by interface
¯ Available with firmware x.33 or a later version.
Apart from putting in data by operation panel or by external keyboard, the data
can be sent via interface.
Application example: Reading in data from a RS232 barcode scanner via se-
rial interface.
Selecting the interface « INTERF.PARAM. > OPTIONS > StandAlone Input
¯ Listed are only interfaces, which are available in the printer and are not al-
ready occupied by another function.
Application notes
¯ The following characters or character sequences are replaced by respec-
tively one „Enter“ action, if received.

• <CR><LF>
• <LF>
• <LF><CR>
¯ Data received at the interface are processed only then, if the printer is
switched to standalone operation.
