Passive Video Transceiver
The UTP 1500 is a passive device which allows for the
transmission of Video, audio and Pan & Tilt & Zoom or
other modulated embedded bidirectional control signals
over Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP)
This simple Device requires no tools to install, just push
and hold the locking buttons, insert the wire and release.
What does the UTP-1500 do?
The AVE-UTP-1500 Video Adapter allows a Video signal to travel up to 3,000 feet or 900m in B&W or 2,000
feet in Color using Unshielded Twisted Pair Cable (CAT5 for example.) The 1500 can transmit composite video
as well as embedded PTZ Control (Coaxitron.)
The AVE UTP-1500 Passive Transceiver allows you to take advantage of existing structured wiring in a building,
or run UTP cable instead of the more expensive and harder to manipulate coaxial cable.
