Chain Watch
Chain Watch
MVDR- 4X/4XR/4XRS
MVDR- 10X/10XR/10XRS
In today’s security market, one of the biggest challenges is processing all of the video that is recorded. A typical
chain of 50 stores that has 32 cameras per store will record 38,400 hours of video per day! It is virtually impos-
sible to process that video on a regular basis. As a result, most retail chains rarely review the majority of the
recorded video unless something bad happens. To make matters worse, the connection speed via POTS, DSL,
or Cable modem to remote sites is usually limits the quality of video transmission to DVR’s Viewer software.
The AVE Chain Watch is a combination of hardware and software that allows easy monitoring of 1-5000 sites. It
can work with existing CCTV video recorders and with ordinary telephone lines. Our focus with this product line
is to provide a way to not only monitor a chain of stores or multiple sites, but to receive real-time notification of
alarmed events, and questionable POS transactions. Chain Watch simplifies the management of multiple sites
by automating the remote viewing to those instances from each site that have the highest priority.
Chain Watch consists of a suite of products that include video/data transmitters, transmit and record models,
central management software for multiple sites, and a searchable database used for collecting POS or ATM
data. The product line is compatible with all of AVE’s ATM and cash register interface products.
