Mark the cell areas on the floor plan, one area for each cell, and split cell overlap
areas in half, as shown in Figure 33: Example of dividing the coverage area and
recording offices on page 63 as heavy dotted lines.
2. Count the number of user offices in each cell area.
3. Record the number of user offices on the floor plan in each cell area.
Creating an estimate table
Use the following table to estimate the number of handset users for each cell.

1. Make an estimate table.
Include a column for each cell center.
2. Label the rows as shown in Table 5: Estimate users in a cell on page 64
.
3. Label each column heading with the cell center indicator.
Use this table to determine how many times to subdivide each cell to carry the
handset telephone traffic.
