Re-subscribing a handset
To re-subscribe a handset that has de-subscribed in error, perform the following procedure.
1. Long-press the button on the basestation to open the DECT system.
2. On the handset, navigate to Menu > System > Subscription > New.
3. Enter the PARK number provided at the bottom of the basestation.
4. Enter the authorization code (the last four digits of the serial number at the bottom
of the basestation).

Cell The coverage area provided by a
basestation.
Cell boundary The edge of a cell showing the cell coverage
area.
Cell center The place where all the basestations are
installed.
DECT Radio Deployment Tool The tool used to determine the radio range
of a basestation.
Critical point A point or location defined as an outer corner
of a coverage area, or points that can be
dif
ficult for the radio signal to reach.
Coverage area The area defined by the customer in which a
handset user can expect to be able to make
and receive calls.
Link If a handset and a basestation are in radio
communication with each other.
Range The distance from a cell center to the cell
boundary.
Office The location where a handset user spends
the majority of the day.
