Installing Microsoft Windows Installer

Step Action

1 Navigate to the Microsoft Windows Installer, located on

the CD-ROM in the directory \01 – Prerequisites\01.07 -

Database engine\01.07.01 - SQL Server 2005 Express

Edition\01.07.01.02 - Microsoft Windows Installer 3.1.

2 Double-click the file WindowsInstaller- KB893803-v2-x86.exe.

3 When the warning in the following figure appears, click Run.

4 When the following window appears, click Next .
