• Choose Action > Start in the menu. The Status column

changes to read Started.

10 In the command window, change directory.

Enter the command as follows:

cd C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\B

inn

11 Check for your server in the server list.

Enter the following command to list the available SQL Servers

and MSDE servers.

osql -L

Look for your (local) server in the list.
