After you complete the preceding steps, a shortcut appears on your

desktop, as shown in Figure 20 "The Messenger shortcut" (page 203).

Accessing properties from the Messenger shortcut

Step Action

1 Select the Messenger shortcut icon, and right-click.

2 Choose Properties from the pop-up menu to access the

Properties window for this shortcut, as shown in Figure 21

"Messenger icon properties" (page 204).
