In Figure 13: Example of logical representation of module links on page 62, four DECT
Messenger modules are shown (eCAP, eKERNEL, eIO, and eDMSAPI). These modules are
grouped around the eKERNEL. Each input/output module (eCAP, eIO, eDMSAPI)
communicates with the eKERNEL through a socket. The default port numbers are shown in
Figure 13: Example of logical representation of module links on page 62. The IP addresses
are the same if the modules are all on the same PC, but the IP addresses are different if the
modules are on more than one PC. After a module starts, it contacts the eKERNEL and
