Voicemail support options
B5800 Branch Gateway supports a range of options for voicemail services to the branch's
native users. It supports Embedded Voicemail for native branch users and auto attendants to
service local PSTN trunks. Standalone Voice Mail is also available for B5800 Branch Gateway
systems when additional port capacity is required. Centralized voice messaging systems,
Avaya Aura
®
Messaging, Modular Messaging over SIP, or CallPilot (for CS 1000 deployments)
can also be configured. When using any of the centralized voice messaging systems, you are
still able to use Embedded Voicemail or Standalone Voice Mail at each branch to provide auto-
attendant operation and announcements for waiting calls.
