7.2 Phone Details
The following types of phone are supported by B5800 Branch Gateway systems.
Native Extensions
B5800 Branch Gateway supports the following phones as local/native extensions. The system requires a Maximum
Native Stations license for the required number of extensions.
These phones connect to DS ports fitted to the system.
· 1400 Series: 1403 , 1408 , 1416 .
· 2400 Series: 2402D , 2410D , 2420 .
· 5400 Series: 5402D , 5410 , 5420 .
These are H.323 IP phones. They connect to the system via its LAN or WAN interface.
· 1600 Series: 1603 , 1603SW , 1603I , 1603SW-I , 1608 , 1608I , 1616 , 1616I .
· 4600 Series: 4601, 4602IP , 4602SW , 4610IP , 4610SW , 4621 , 4625 .
· 5600 Series: 5601 , 5602IP , 5602SW , 5610IP , 5610SW , 5620 , 5620SW , 5621 .
· 9600 Series: 9608 , 9611G , 9620L , 9620C , 9621G , 9630G , 9640 , 9640G , 9641G
, 9650 , 9650C .
These are H.323 wireless phones:
· 3600 Series: 3616 , 3620 , 3626 , 3641 , 3645 .
These are DECT handsets. They connect to the system via an IP DECT trunk connection to an Avaya DECT R4 system.
· 3700 Series: 3711 , 3720 , 3725 , 3740 , 3749 .
Non-Avaya SIP telephone devices are supported.
Survivable Extensions for IP Office Aura Edition with CS1000 Deployments
B5800 Branch Gateway supports the following phones as centralized/survivable extensions. The system requires a
Survivable Stations license for the required number of phones in order for them to operate with the B5800 Branch
Gateway when in their 'rainy day' survivability state. They connect to the system via its LAN or WAN interface.
· 9600 Series: 9620L , 9620C , 9630G , 9640 , 9640G , 9650 , 9650C .
These phones are supported as survivable extensions when they use SIP 2.6 firmware.
· 9600 Series: 9608 , 9611G , 9621G , 9641G .
These phones are supported as survivable extensions when they use SIP 6.0 firmware.
Survivable extensions for B5800 Branch Gateway with CM-FS or CM-ES Deployments
B5800 Branch Gateway supports the following phones as centralized/survivable extensions. The system requires a
Survivable Stations license for the required number of phones in order for them to operate with the B5800 Branch
Gateway when in their 'rainy day' survivability state. They connect to the system via its LAN or WAN interface.
· 1100 Series: 1120E , 1140E .
· 1200 Series: 1220 , 1230 .
These 1100 and 1200 series phones are supported as survivable extensions when they use SIP 4.2 firmware.
