Usability
· Mergeable: These settings are not mergeable. Changes to these settings will require a reboot of the system.
Configuration Settings
· Shared Secret/Confirm Password
User setting used for authentication. Must be matched at both ends of the tunnel. This password is separate from the
PPP authentication parameters defined on the L2TP|Tunnel tab.
· Total Control Retransmission Interval: Default = 0. Range = 0 to 65535.
Time delay before retransmission.
· Receive Window Size: Default = 4. Range = 0 to 65535.
The number of unacknowledged packets allowed.
· Sequence numbers on Data Channel: Default = On
When on, adds sequence numbers to L2TP packets.
· Add checksum on UDP packets: Default = On.
When on, uses checksums to verify L2TP packets.
· Use Hiding: Default = Off
When on, encrypts the tunnel's control channel.
