Avaya B189 Release 1.0.0.21 Package Contents
The Avaya B189 1.0 software package contains all the files necessary to upgrade the Avaya to a new load.
The following files are included in each package:
 SB189_HAL_R1_0_0_21_r8905_V474.tar - The B1891.0 phone application tar file.
 SB189_UKR_V13r127_V13r127.tar – The H.323 Kernel and root file system tar file.
 B189Hupgrade.txt – This file is downloaded by the Avaya B189 phone and instructs the phone on how
to upgrade. DO NOT EDIT this file. You MUST USE this file included in this package to upgrade the
software.
 12 predefined language files for phone display:
o mlf_B189_V99_chinese.txt
o mlf_B189_V99_french_paris.txt
o mlf_B189_V99_german.txt
o mlf_B189_V99_italian.txt
o mlf_B189_V99_japanese.txt
o mlf_B189_V99_korean.txt
o mlf_B189_V99_portuguese.txt
o mlf_B189_V99_russian.txt
o mlf_B189_V99_spanish_latin.txt
o mlf_B189_V99_template_english.txt (English is supported by default. this file is to be used
only to create custom .mlf file, make sure to read known issues 122409 before using this).
 av_csca_pem_2032.txt (Avaya Call Server Root Certificate)
 av_prca_pem_2033.txt (Avaya Product Root CA certificate)

The signatures in the signatures subdirectory of the .zip distribution packages are only intended to be
used by the file server, and the file server that is on the CM6.0 Utility Server is the only file server that
currently supports this.
System specific parameters should be entered into the 46xxsettings.txt file which is available for separate
download at http://support.avaya.com
