Configuring the ring volume

To change the ringer volume, perform the following steps:

Defining the ring external melody

The Avaya 4070 and 4075 DECT Handsets offer 20 melodies, while the

Avaya 4027 DECT Handset offers 10 melodies.

4. Press the Left or Right key to choose the Sounds

and alerts menu.

1. Open the Sounds and alerts menu using the steps

in “Accessing the Sounds and alerts menu”

(page 177).

2. Press the Up or Down key to highlight the Ring

volume option.

3. Press the Select soft key.

4. Press the Left or Right key to select the volume

level.

5. Press the OK soft key to apply the changes.

6. Press the Clr key one or more times to return to the

idle display.

WARNING

If your handset is subscribed to a traditional DECT

system based on DMC cards, the system identifies all

incoming calls as external.
