Enabling the Coverage warning

If you enable the Coverage warning feature, a sound occurs when the

handset is out of base station coverage.

To enable the Coverage warning feature, perform the following steps:

4. Press the Up or Down key to select On or Off.

5. Press the Select soft key to apply the changes.

6. Press the Clr key one or more times to return to the

idle display.

Attention: The default volume of the Confirmation

sound is 1.

1. Open the Sounds and alerts menu using the steps

in “Accessing the Sounds and alerts menu”

(page 177).

2. Press the Up or Down key to highlight the

Coverage warning option.

3. Press the Select soft key.
