Configuring Polycom MGC Series Video Conferencing Systems
This section describes how to configure a Polycom MGC series video conferencing.The
following procedure.
Configuring IP Network Regions
On SAT, enter change ip-network-region n (where n is the chosen IP network region)
and set the following paramters:
Intra-region IP-IP Direct Audio : Y
Inter-region IP-IP Direct Audio : Y
Security Procedures : any-auth
codec set : appropriate entry
Video Norm : appropriate bandwidth
Video Prio : appropriate bandwidth
Video Shr : Y/N, depending on if user wishes to share video pool.
Determining the Maximum Number of Video Conferencing Ports Supported
On the system-parameters customer-options screen verify the following parameters:
verify Maximum Administered Ad-hoc Video Conferencing Ports. The maximum
number of Ad-hoc video conferencing ports allowed is the number of video ports
available for Ad-hoc use on the MCU(s). For example, if you have three MCUs, and
each MCU has 16 ports available for Ad-hoc use, the maximum number of Ad-hoc
