3. INSTRUCTIONS D’INSTALLATION PRÉPARATION ET INSTALLATION DE L’APPAREIL PRÉPARATION • Retirez l‘emballage extérieur et intérieur. • Placez l’appareil à l’endroit en position debout puis attendez environ deux heures avant de le brancher. Vous éviterez ainsi des ennuis de fonctionnement au niveau du système de refroidissement occasionné par le transport. • Nettoyez les surfaces intérieures avec un chiffon doux imbibé d’eau tiède. Retirez le grille de ventilation du bas Soulev ez légèrement la grille pour v ous donner accès au 5 v is intérieures. Étape 3 Étape 4 Retirez le cache charnière N.B.

Inversion de porte de votre appareil Étape par étape Étape 9 Étape 10 Retirez les vis du coin opposé • Fixez le nouveau pivot à l’aide des vis retirées à l’étape 9. • Enfilez les bagues de nivellement de l’étape 8 N.

4. FONCTIONNEMENT DE L’APPAREIL Il est recommandé de placer l’appareil dans un endroit où la température ambiante se situe entre 15° et 25 °C. Si la température ambiante est supérieure ou inférieure à la température recommandée il se peut que le fonctionnement de l’appareil en soit affecté .Par exemple, exposer votre appareil à un froid extrême ou à de fortes chaleurs peut faire fluctuer les températures intérieures.
• Quand vous utilisez L’ÉTAGE INFÉRIEUR, si la température est réglée entre 10° et 14ºC, la lampe à DEL au dessus de l’icône représentant le « BLANC » s’allumera. • Quand vous utilisez L’ÉTAGE INFÉRIEUR, si la température est réglée entre 15° et 18ºC, la lampe à DEL au dessus de l’icône représentant le « ROUGE » s’allumera.
5. CAPACITÉ D’ENTREPOSAGE Les bouteilles peuvent varier en taille et en dimension. Ainsi, votre cabinet est conçu pour être flexible et s’adapter à vos besoins. Pour retirer ou déplacer une tablette : 1. Enlever les bouteilles 2. Tirer la tablette vers l’extérieur 3. Détacher en baissant l’attache de côté gauche et en soulevant celle de droite, puis tirer. RECOMMENDATIONS POUR L’ENTREPOSAGE • • • • • • Votre cabinet a été conçu pour entreposer un maximum de bouteilles en toute sécurité.
6. ENTRETIEN DE L’APPAREIL NETTOYAGE DE L’APPAREIL • Coupez le courant, débranchez l’appareil et videz le contenu incluant les tablettes. • Lavez les surfaces intérieures avec de l’eau chaude et une solution au bicarbonate de soude • (2 cuillères à soupe pour ¼ d’eau). • Lavez les tablettes avec un détergent doux. • Essorez bien l’éponge ou le chiffon avant de nettoyer les parties de contrôle ou toute partie électrique.
7. DÉPANNAGE DES ENNUIS AVEC VOTRE CELLIER ? Vous pouvez facilement résoudre plusieurs des problèmes courants de votre appareil et vous épargner ainsi des frais de service. 2-IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, or injury when WARNING using your appliance, follow these basic precautions: READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE WINE CELLAR DANGER OR WARNING: RISK OF CHILD ENTRAPMENT. • Child entrapment and suffocation on are not only problems of the past. Junked or abandoned appliances are still dangerous even if they will “just sit in the garage for a few days”. • Before you throw away old wine Cellar: Take off the door.
3-PREPARATION & INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Before Using Your Wine Cellar • Remove the exterior and interior packaging. • Before connecting the Wine Cellar to the power source, let it stand upright for approximately 2 hours. This will reduce the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling system from handling during transportation. • Clean the interior surface with lukewarm water using a soft cloth. • Install the handle on the door.
Procedure for reversing door opening Step 1 Step 2 Remove the ventilation grid Take off the 5 screws located on the outer surface of the grate Remove the ventilation grid Slightly lift off the grid to access the 5 interior screws and remove them.
Procedure for reversing door opening Step 5 Step 6 Remove the hinge Detach the door Step 7 Step 8 Remove the bottom pivot. Keep all components for later use, as shown in Step 10. Keep the leveling rings for later use as shown in Step 10.
Procedure for reversing door opening Step 9 Step 10 Remove screws from opposite side (bottom) • Re-install bottom hinge assembly using screws removed in Step 9. • Put in the levelling rings from Step 8 Note: All parts needed for rev erse door swing assembly are included in the component bag inside the unit along with the owner’s manual and the key. Step 11 Step 12 Remove screws from opposite side (top) • Reverse door 180° and re-install • Re-install top hinge assembly .
Procedure for reversing door opening Step 13 Step 14 Remove the bottom cap from the underside of the door and install on the upper side. Reinstall the vent grid using the 10 screws. Note: The same can be done for the logo.
4-OPERATING YOUR WINE CELLAR The wine cellar should be placed where the ambient temperature is between 15 to 25 ºC. If the ambient temperature is above or below this range, the performance of the unit may be affected. For example, placing your unit in extreme cold or hot conditions may cause interior temperatures to fluctuate. The zone temperature may have a difference of +/- 5°F (+/- 3ºC) from setting depending on loading and ambient conditions.
NOTE: • If the unit is unplugged, power lost, or turned off; you must wait 3 to 5 minutes before restarting. If you attempt to restart before this interval the Wine Cellar will not start. • When you use the wine Cellar for the first time or restart the wine Cellar after having been shut off for a long time, there could be a few degrees variance between the temperature you select and the one indicated on the LED readout. This is normal and it is due to the length of the activation time.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR LAYOUT AND STORAGE OF YOUR WINE CABINET • Your cabinet was designed to store a maximum number of bottles in total security. We recommend that you observe the tips to optimize loading. • Spread your bottles out as evenly as possible over the shelves, so that weight is not concentrated in one point; also make sure your bottles do not touch the back of the cabinet, or the step at bottom. • Also make sure that bottles are not all grouped together at the top or bottom of the cabinet.
6-CARE AND MAINTENANCE CLEANING YOUR WINE CELLAR • Turn off the power, unplug the appliance, and remove all items including shelves and rack. • Wash the inside surfaces with warm water and baking soda solution. The solution should be about 2 tablespoons of baking soda with a quart of water. • Wash the shelves with a mild detergent solution. • Wring excess water out of the sponge or cloth when cleaning area of the controls, or any electrical parts.
7-TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE You can solve many common problems easily, saving you the cost of a possible service call. Try the suggestions below to see if you can solve the problem before calling the authorized service center. PROBLEM Wine Cellar does not operate. POSSIBLE CAUSE Not plugged in. The appliance is turned off. The circuit breaker has tripped or a blown fuse. Wine Cellar is not cold enough. Check the temperature control setting. External environment may require a higher setting.
