2. Calling
Make a call
From idle screen
1. In idle mode, enter the phone number with the
keypad. To correct an error, press R.
2. Press ( to dial the number.
3. Press ) to hang up.
To make an international call, long press 0 to
insert the international prefix "+".
Using the phonebook
1. Press R in idle mode.
2. Select a contact from the list, press ( to dial.
To select a different number, press + or - (see
"Phone Book" for more information).
3. Press ) to hang up.
When you have entered several IP special service
numbers, you will be prompted to verify them to
avoid adding them repeatedly.
IP Dial (China & Hong Kong only)
You may select IP dial. When you select IP dial
option, the mobile phone will automatically add the
IP special service number preset by you in front of
Calling
the phone number and then make IP dial. You can
also long press ( to activate IP dial.
When you have entered several IP special service
numbers, you will be prompted to verify them to
avoid adding them repeatedly.
Answer and end a call
When there is an incoming call, the number of the
caller may be displayed if the caller has chosen to
display his or her identity. If the number is stored in
the phonebook, the corresponding name will be
displayed instead of the number.
• To answer the call: press ( or ,.
• To reject the call: press ). If you have activated
Call Divert, the call will be diverted to another
number or your voice mail.
• To hang up: press ) or close the slider of the
phone.
The phone will not ring when it is in silent mode.
If you have selected Any Key, you can answer a call
by pressing any key, except ) and R..
